How does it work?
Face LogOn Xpress uses award winning XID Face Recognition technology to find instantly a match between images taken from a camera with registered 3D Faces.

How many users can I enroll onto Face LogOn?
There is no limit to the number of users in Face LogOn Xpress as Windows users on the PC.
Any user has his Face related to his User name (and his default password).

How do I add a new account?
Just enroll a Face for each User to grant Access by Face Recognition.

What type of web camera do I need?
Face LogOn Xpress supports any type of web-camera with min RGB16.

Where to place the camera?
The ideal operating position for the web camera is directly above the monitor at eye level.
If camera is removed, you should reposition it at the same orientation and at the same place.

Why doesn’t my PC launch Face LogOn Xpress when I switch on?
Make sure that you have clicked "Activate" in main menu or in the software icon on the Task tray and then re-start your PC.

What is Preferences settings in Preferences?
Face LogOn Xpress allows user to set up the sensitivity thus accuracy of Face Recognition: easy access with different lighting conditions or set up higher security level.
You can set low sensitivity for high speed facial Recognition but less analysis or raise the level for high end Face analysis to secure the PC.

How can I get the most out of Face LogOn Xpress?
It’s all about lighting conditions. We recommend enrolling you first in a standard homogenous soft lighting environment (no strong side or back lighting).
Sit yourself in your normal position in front of your PC, put your face in the frame on the screen and follow the friendly “Step by Step” enrollment process.

What should I do if the software does not recognize me?
In really extreme conditions or in the dark, Face LogOn Xpress allows you to still have access to your PC using your User name and default password instead of the camera.
We recommend enrolling you again to train Face LogOn Xpress Expert system dealing with these specific lighting conditions.

What to do if my camera does not work?
Just enter you Username and Password.

What should I do if I’ve changed the location of my camera or my computer?
When you move your PC - especially laptop user, the Lighting conditions are changing (i.e. strong back light, darkness…) so you may have to enter your User name and Password to log on. Then the best way to empower the Face Recognition is to enroll you in those new lighting conditions.
Thus Face LogOn learns and reinforces itself each time you give it new Lighting conditions to deal with.
